    4. Time For Science本身的定位就是一套增强型的Unix系统工具，但也有一些独有而且好用的小工具。我挑选了一些用于处理文本的Perl脚本，使用pp把它们转换成了exe。因为好多脚本都是用了模块，所以转换之后的exe比较大（~13M）。最终的文件大于500M（full，完整版）；剔出Unix中已有的以及不是很重要的程序后，得到一些Time For Science独特的程序，总共100M左右（lite，核心版）。

    大部分程序可以“望名生义”，具体的使用方法可以通过下列方式获得：

    command.exe --help

    制作可执行程序的环境与工具如下：
    操作系统：Windows 7, 32位
    Perl程序：Strawberry Perl 5.12.2.0
    转换程序：pp（PAR Packager）
